A garden and grassland fire that broke out in the Pürüntüz hamlet of Elazığ's Yemişlik village was brought under control by teams after an intervention lasting approximately two hours.
The fire, which started for an as-yet-undetermined reason, quickly spread over a large area.
Following the notification, firefighters, gendarmerie, police, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the fire, approximately 25 decares of garden and grassland were damaged.
Cooling efforts are continuing in the area.
