Ministry: Social Service Models Explained to 23,000 Mukhtars

The Ministry of Family and Social Services has taken action to ensure citizens are accurately informed about social service and social assistance opportunities. The Ministry explained its social service models to 23,150 mukhtars in 81 provinces over the past two months. This aims to identify needs and direct individuals to appropriate services.

According to a statement from the Ministry, work continues within the scope of Social Risk Maps and the Family Guide System. The Ministry aims for early detection of individuals in need of social services and support. To this end, it aims to strengthen cooperation with local stakeholders and offer inclusive, accessible, and sustainable support mechanisms.

In this context, steps have been taken to inform mukhtars, who are external stakeholders. "Information Meetings for Mukhtars" were organized under the coordination of Provincial Directorates. These meetings aimed to provide mukhtars with institutional information about the Ministry's social service models.

During these meetings, held in June and July, the Ministry conveyed its social service models to 23,150 mukhtars in 81 provinces.

Mukhtars were provided with comprehensive information about the social service models offered by the Ministry, social assistance mechanisms, and services carried out at Social Service Centers.

Additionally, neighborhood visits were conducted to strengthen institutional cooperation within the scope of the Family Guide System. Professional staff went into the field as part of Family and Community-Based Social Support Studies.

During these visits, one-on-one meetings were held with mukhtars. Information was provided about the Ministry's social service models.

These visits aim for the early detection of citizens in need of social services. This way, the goal is to effectively and quickly implement the necessary support mechanisms.

Through information meetings and field visits, the Ministry is strengthening cooperation between public institutions and at the neighborhood level. The aim is the early detection of social risks and the timely, effective, and holistic delivery of social support services to citizens in need.
