The Akbank Jazz Festival, in its 36th year, will host leading names from the international and local jazz scene.

The festival, organized in collaboration with Akbank Sanat and BKM, will take place between September 26 and October 11. More than 30 concerts and side events will be held at various venues across the city.

At the festival, Joe Armon-Jones will perform at Frankhan Selectist and Danae Palaka at Yeldeğirmeni Sanat on September 26. Momoko Gill will perform at Yeldeğirmeni Sanat on September 27, and Sarathy Korwar Drum Ensemble will give a concert at Salon İKSV on September 29.

On September 30, Robinson Khoury MYA will be at Komünite, and Velvele, consisting of Merve Salgar and Anıl Eraslan, will meet music lovers at All Saints Moda Kilisesi.

On the first day of October, Ben LaMar Gay will be at Ensemble Babylon, and Young European Stars, led by Jakob Manz, will perform at Komünite.

Emin Fındıkoğlu +12 orchestra will be on stage at Saint Benoit French High School on October 2.

James Carter Piano Quartet will be at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage, and saxophonist Cochemea will meet music lovers at Salon İKSV on October 3.

Sibel Köse's "Jazz Bridge from Vistula to Bosphorus" project will be at Akatlar Cultural Center, and L'Antidote can be seen at ARTER Karbon on October 4.

Dhafer Youssef will be at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage, and Yazmin Lacey will meet art lovers at Babylon on October 7.

On October 8, 10-time Grammy-winning master trumpeter Arturo Sandoval will be at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage, and Sasha Berliner will perform at Borusan Music House.

Kassa Overall will meet fans at Babylon on October 9, and Nicole Zuraitis will meet fans at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage on October 10.

The festival will conclude on October 11 with Kinkajous at ARTER Karbon and Primavera en Salonico concerts featuring Savina Yannatou and Lamia Bedioui at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage.
