Kartal AİHL: 2 National First Places, 22 Top Ranks in YKS

Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip High School achieved great success according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (2026-YKS). The school produced national first-place winners in the verbal field of the Field Proficiency Test (AYT) and in the Arabic session of the Foreign Language Test (YDT). It also secured 78 ranks in the top 1000.

According to the announced YKS results, Kartal AİHL achieved national ranks in different score types. The school reached 4 ranks in the top 10, 22 in the top 100, and 78 in the top 1000.

The distribution of ranks in the top 1000 was as follows: 14 in quantitative, 21 in verbal, 22 in equally weighted, and 21 in language fields. National first places in the verbal field of the Field Proficiency Test (AYT) and in Arabic for the Foreign Language Test (YDT) were also among these achievements.

Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip High School Principal Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Öztürk explained the school's YKS success and the students' efforts.

Öztürk stated that they prepared for the exam with swift and active effort. "Our students reaped the rewards of their hard work this year as well. This year, they achieved 4 ranks in the top 10. They secured a national first place in verbal, as well as fifth, seventh, and a first place in the language field. Our school also has 22 ranks in the top 100. In the top thousand, they achieved 14 ranks in quantitative, 21 in verbal, 22 in equally weighted, and 21 in language fields," he stated.

"They worked very hard and reached their goals; the happiness on their faces makes us happy too."

Öztürk emphasized that the school supports multifaceted development. "Actually, this picture shows that our school supports multifaceted development. Our children have shown us that while they are placed in their desired and targeted universities, they have also demonstrated versatile success in many fields simultaneously. They worked very hard and made great efforts. With the support of their teachers, the plans our school made for them, and our accurate evaluations, they achieved their goals. I congratulate their families, all our contributing teachers, and everyone who has worked under the roof of this school; we are filled with pride," he said.

Öztürk noted that Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip High School stands out not only for its YKS successes but also for its support of multifaceted development. "For 5 years, we tried to develop our students' language skills through preparation. In the 9th and 10th grades, we supported their multifaceted personal development. In the 11th and 12th grades, we initiate university preparation processes, and they actually achieved this success as a result of an intensive two-year effort. A good result emerged; I believe it is a better result than last year's. They worked very hard and reached their goals; the happiness on their faces makes us happy too," he stated.

Öztürk reminded that the Kartal Education Foundation gifts cars to the top 3 students who achieve ranks each year. He added that this year, gifts would be given to 2 students.
